For the very first time EVER, we got message stating "Installing SQDF" on the Infotainment system of our Jeep Wrangler JL 392 Rubicon. I tried doing a quick search and the best I could find is that the acronym stands for "Sequence Quality Data Feed". Whether or not that's true, I have no idea nor have I found any explanation as to what it really means or what's being done. Anyone out there seen this before?

I'm sure it was or still is. Just never seen it before and it wouldn't go away for the better part of the day - this in spite of turning off the engine multiple times.

my client bought a used challenger hellcat several months back and when I went for a ride I noticed that same thing.

I asked him how long it had been installing and he hadn't even noticed it, haven't seen it on my JLU

After doing some more research, I've seen where this isn't a Jeep specific thing. Happens on all Chrysler products. That said, I've ONLY seen it happen our 392

It’s probably some government spy thing. 🤔🤷‍♂️

I’ve seen messages there a couple of times since we got ours two years ago… never really got a good look at them as they were gone as quick as they appeared.

Must be an 8.4" issue because I've never seen it.

Just see "Updating" and nothing is available but the radio still plays whatever station or channel it was last on.

I see this from time to time on my TRX infotainment system. It is some garbage that Stellantis likes to install on our systems, I think related to telematics. (My JK doesn't have the fancy radio, etc)

Word is that it's an update that gets hung up from time to time, but usually clears after a few cycles. Supposed to be an update that addresses some things in Uconnect. While it's up, you may encounter touch screen issues, or glitchy interaction with uconnect etc.

It’s an over the air update. GM does the same thing and we get customer complaining about an update all the time. Your message should go away after a few cycles
