Unintended consequences be damned! It's funny I was just reading an article yesterday about how European scientist are now sounding the alarm over the use of LED lighting (you know, the ones enlightened governments forced their people to use), apparently they are bad for wildlife, bad for vegetation, bad for people, and bad for the environment. Lmao, you can't make this shit up.
Interesting. I knew compact fluorescent household lights were a problem when they were no longer usable. I've not heard about the problems with LED.
I consider LED lighting in transport equipment a wonder breakthrough. Low energy demand and extreme long life. We used to constantly battle light problems on semi trailers. Not anymore. I can light up a tractor trailer to the point it can be seen from space. And, on a 85 Amp alternator.

I'll see if I can find that article, It came up on my stupid phone news feed. I agree LED's are great for a number of things, just like EV's probably are, but just because a product is good for some use doesn't mean the government(s) should mandate it for all use.
