What was done to your rig this week?

Almost forgot… What’s just as good as a brand new OEM radiator, you might ask?! JB mother f’in Weld….haha hopefully this lasts for a while. Leak was very small…

What was done to your rig this week?

@jeeeep has the right answer. I’m at 110,000mi now. My camshaft position sensor seals started leaking around 90,000 miles. You can replace them without taking the valve cover off if you use a 1” heavy wall deep socket to press the new ones in with. That way they will seat properly. Slide them...

Thanks again! You know, I enjoyed the rebuild because it was cool to break em open see how they work, and the rebuild kit is cheaper than buying a new set. However, it took twice as long as just pressing new ones in IF you have the right ball joint press.

What was done to your rig this week?

Thanks to @Disciple Off Road. Synergy TREs and Dynatrac Rebuild Kit. Replaced fuel injectors and camshaft position sensor seals, and wheel hubs as well… Put some exhaust wrap around my coolant lines. Air box and wires on the valve cover have been jamming into them a little since stuffing...

    JL Steering Box

^ I vote this for the win. I too would have to recenter my steering wheel after hard trails with the stock DL. Someone I was with at EJS this year bent their stock DL at that coupler joint specifically, right in the middle. Edit: NVM. Just realized you have a JL. I don’t have any experience...

That’s awesome that they fit. They are bigger, yea? The ones on my wife’s JL look bigger than my JK. I haven’t compared too closely though…

JK Heater Hose Retainer clip - source???

Ahh, 3.8… I spent all day in my penatastar, and this post made me go back and double take… I would try the isolator from @jeeeep and the zip tie from @cozdude together in the same area. I bet the combination would keep the hoses stacked vertical pretty well…

    A Dirt Head's JK

^This Ended out making my own and it makes long hauls so much nicer. I kind of eyeballed the dimensions when I made it and ended out pulling it off and drilling new holes in the bracket to get it lined up where it felt good.
