    Show Off Your Guns!

Yeah it does but I’m happy to finally have a permit in hand. Not like I’ve been carrying for the last few years or anything. 🤫

    Show Off Your Guns!

Today I finally picked up my CCW. When I moved to the Bay Area almost 20 years ago I applied and was denied. Thanks to some hard fighting gun loving Americans my county was forced to start issuing as long as the applicant met all the requirements. After 15 months and roughly $1000 I can finally...

    Trail Capable Trailers

Thanks. One of these days I’ll actually finish it. And yes we do. We keep saying we will especially since we got blown out on the peninsula. We need to make it happen. Fully aware it’s me not you though. Seems like I never have a gap in my calendar.

    Trail Capable Trailers

I built this one and it has been great. Probably have about $5k into it including the tent and paint. I have a build thread on here somewhere. I’ll see if I can find it. Black Pearl built a pretty cool one too

SAFTEY GLASSES - When Do You Wear Them?

A lot of this sounds familiar. I’ve been in twice to have metal removed from my eyes. Both times was wearing safety glasses. I now use my welding hood on grind mode when cutting or grinding.

    Show Off Your Guns!

I use a cheap DBTAC range bag I got on Amazon. Serves it purpose carrying whatever gear I take. Pistols go in a hard sided case though.

Was a long 10 days but got to pick this up today. Now just need to find time to actually put some rounds through it.

Didn’t post these up after the cook yesterday.

    Watcha cookin'?

yeah, I love that thing. I got the barrel for free and had all the hardware so it basically just took a little time and I had to buy the Weber grille grate. It holds temp pretty damn well. Not something I would leave running while I was away for very long though. I use a mix of wood and lump...

Good to hear. I have a few We the People and Tulsters and they’re fine. Heard good things about T1C so took a gamble on that price point.

    Show Off Your Guns!

Ended up going with the Hellcat Prod to order one in so just filled out the paperwork today. Now in fun jail for 10 days. Also ordered a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite. More updates in a couple weeks.

    Show Off Your Guns!

Thanks, unfortunately in CA the 17 rounds isn’t an option. At least legally. I do like how the Sig frames aren’t serialized though. good point on the slide release. Hopefully I can find one in stock locally to check out. Most places around here don’t stock much. I prefer no manual safety and am...

    Show Off Your Guns!

Now that the 365 and Hellcat are available in CA I’m trying to decide between the two. Anyone shoot the Hellcat Pro? I like the fact it’s a little bigger. If I got the 365 I’d swap to the XL frame but would definitely be money ahead with the Springfield.

03/13 Four years ago today we heard two weeks to flatten the curve.

My wife was forced out of her job as an ER nurse because she refused the jab. She got an email last week saying she could come back now. Lol. The employer I was with before changing jobs last May was deducting my paycheck every month because I refused. It’s sad what happened to our country...

    D60/60 vs D60/14 - JKU

Sounds even more like the 60 rear would be plenty fine for you. 14b is stronger, has a larger ring gear and has a pinion support bearing. 14b has threaded collars to adjust carrier preload vs shims in the 60. You’d have to look up the difference in specs on spline count and tube diameter and...

    D60/60 vs D60/14 - JKU

You’d probably be money ahead to buy the one already built. With axle will hold up. I’d prefer a 14b over the 60 but not if it meant spending a significant amount more. Price out the cost of build one from stock and compare to what the already built one is asking. Axles, suspension, wheels...
