Would an RPM Steering system be good for my occassional wheeling?

I have an EVO drag link flip kit already on my Jeep as I have the Enforcer 1 installed. It is time for new tierod ends so I have decided to upgrade the steering system. Would I be able to use another kit such as the RPM Steering system or Metalcloak and leave my EVO flip kit in place? I am...

I'm going to do it! Don't try to talk me out of it.

I'm here to announce that in 2025, I am going to make my first trip ever to Easter Jeep Safari. I've never been and starting to plan for this trip as of this week. I'm tired and need a vacation after the hustle and bustle of moving to N. Nevada 2 years ago. Don't try to talk me out of it.

ICECO VL60 Dual Zone Fridge in a JKU

If anyone is running the ICECO brand fridge. I would like to see a picture of it in the back of your JKU. I want a dualzone and the company doesn't make a dual zone in the 45L size. I like the fact that this fridge is metal, uses the good compressors. I just want to see how big the 63QT fridge...

RHD drag link to be used on JKU to replace flip drag link on LHD

I purchased a EVO lift and the drag link flip kit and it only lasted two years before the bushing destroyed(No off-roading done on lift). EVO doesn't sell the replacement part and I don't think I should have to pay $200+ for a new kit. If I buy a RHD drag link is there one that is greasable...

Replace whole thing or just the worn part.

I found this while looking under the Jeep. Is this greaseable part even replaceable or should I replace the entire drag link with an aftermarket one? Just trying to get the Jeep ready for a possible easy trip. Too late for grease. I won’t let it get like this again. Sent from my iPhone using...

    What is this oil stain?

This is the front driver’s side. There are no leaks as I see no drips on the ground. The oil filter adapter was warranty repaired in December at the dealership and there were no more oil leaks. I thought it was from changing the oils since the oil filter is in that side but I got someone taller...

    14' JKU w/ 89K miles seems sluggish

14 JKU w/ 4:88 gears and 35s. No check engine light, no codes. I had the regear done in 2018 a couple of months after getting the EVO Enforcer lift put on. The Jeep shot down the freeway like a rocket after being re geared. December 2018, I had the oil filter cooler replaced at the dealership...

Does the ProCal module need to be put in the OBD port more than once?

I had the JKU regard after a lift in April 2018. I just wanted to know if the Pro Cal needs to be put in the OBD any more times other than the initial regear. The only work that was done after the regear was warranty work for a replacement oil filter housing/cooler in December 2018. Jeeps seems...

Oil leak that doesn't leak?/Oil Cooler Housing shot?

I have a 2014 JKU and read the threads of the oil cooler housing that craps out. I have a habit of looking under my Jeep before I get in and today, I was parked on an incline and noticed oil an oil spot about 2 inches. I got home, climbed under the Jeep with a rag and degreaser and cleaned off...

will this rotary tool cut JK fenders

This rotary tool was given to me. I am not sure it is strong enough to cut JK fenders. it's 120V and sometimes it is called a dremel but not sure if that is by mistake. Maybe if I put a better disc on it? Picture is below.

DIY Garage in San Diego area

Anyone know of DIY in the San Diego area? There used to be one in North County but I think they closed. I have a couple of things that need fixing but I live in an apartment and do not have a garage (let alone park barely in my neighborhood) to work out of. I'm trying to do the little things...

unable to remove the fill bolt on rear differential

Read the write up on changing differential fluid. Very good as I changed the front differential. Tried to do the rear but unable to remove the rear fill bolt. The front came off just fine without using the 3" ratchet extender so I used it on the rear to see if that would help, no go. Any reason...

OEM or after market gas cap?

Okay, this is the second time I've gotten the GASCAP word on the odometer. I filled the tank a couple of days ago but I tightened the cap and it would have been on a long time ago had I not tightened down. The JK is only 2 yrs old so it makes check engine light come on, I tighten it, drive home...

I want to do the fender cut and since I don't have a garage, I need to use either cordless or pneumatic tools. Is this Harbor Freight cordless jigsaw good enough for the cutting of four fenders for $29.99 or should I spend a little more money on a better quality saw? I can't really see anything...

Dead of Winter The Donner Party

I know a lot of folks know the story of the Donner Party but the Weather Channel is showing an interesting recreation about the travels of the Donner Party that I watched yesterday. It showed the struggle of the travel and is already to the part where they have reached the snow in the Sierra...
